Can't wait!!! (Originally posted on Home Depot Canada)

Since I killed my last offset smoker, I've been using my Masterbuilt Smoker Box to smoke. I really didn't like it. It wasn't the same. No smoke ring and the meat wasn't as tender. I look forward to my for cook this weekend. But I will light her up today to season the grill.

Assembly (Originally posted on Home Depot Canada)

It came with a lot of pieces. It’s recommended having two people but I was about to get it done alone a little over an hour. Overall I’m satisfied with the size of the grill. Can’t wait to get it smoking.

Huge smoker (Originally posted on Home Depot Canada)

Great smoker. This thing is huge. We only used one time but it went well. The set up took two people a little over an hour and it was easy to put together. That day we purchased some charcoal and wood chips and we were off. It took a little time to heat it up but once we did we were well on our way. We smoked chicken wings and it look about 2-3 hours including heating the smoker. The heat was pretty even and the wings were great!

Awesome first run with a new smoker. Low and slow and family and friends couldn't stop praising the pit master.

Most even smoke (Originally posted on Home Depot Canada)

I got this smoker and left a review before using it. I now want to provide an updated review based on my several experiences with smoking. I must say I love this thing! I have smoked a pork shoulder, a brisket and wings. All came out perfect! There is a learning curve in using an offset smoker but once you play around with it you’ll learn how to keep the temperature up. You should spray or season your firebox and your grill plates to keep it new .Check out my results!

Los of space (Originally posted on Home Depot Canada)

Lots of space. Use a long handle #2 and a few metric wrenches (7, 10, 17) instead of a crescent wrench and you'll be happy. had to modify the smoke box baffle to get the screws to allow the baffle to slide open and closed.
